Whoaaa, the last time I put up a blog post was in March and its now May...Time really flew by these past few weeks~ I've just been so caught up with work and the social events on campus. I'm working on my ENGH 302 paper that's due tomorrow at 3:00pm and I'm not really done with it. :/ It's time to pull an all nighter and not get ANY sleep :( It doesn't help that I have a huge 12 page paper for my International Econ class on Tuesday that I haven't started on yet. AHHHHH!

10:17pm at Fenwick Library

Today was such a lonnnngggg dayy and unfornately for me, its STILL not over :( I've been studying at the library since 7pm for the two government exams I have tomorrow. WHYYYYY? I also just realized I have an appointment with one of the Computer Science professors tomorrow at 9:30am. I guess I won't be getting any sleep tonight. I've had a lot of things on my mind lately and I honestly just want another snow day or a break even though Spring Break was last week. Ughhhhhhhhhh~ I've thinking about switching my major but I'm already too far into my major so I can't switch cause I'm basically almost done. I thought I would enjoy majoring in Global Affairs and minoring in Japanese Studies but when I'm looking at what I'm studying in college I'm realizing and asking myself "what am I going to do to make a living with my major and minor when I graduate from college?" I thought I wanted to be a lawyer for the longest time but since winter break, I've been having like a mini life crisis and panicking cause I don't think I want to be a lawyer. I've been working hard towards that goal and now that I don't really have one. I'm not really focused on my studies like I usually am. I had my Japanese exam today and I'm pretty certain I BOMBED IT :(. MY GPAAAAAA~~ AHHH. Anyways so since January I've been thinking about adding another major in Computer Science. I've always been interested in programming and coding and I've been playing around with it a little and it seems pretty fun but I don't know if I would be able to handle a HARD major like Computer Science. I was never good in math so I've been really thinking about it. But even if I do graduate with a degree in Computer Science, I don't know if I'll be successful and happy as a computer programmer. I wish I could talk to someone about this or just get better advice than I've been getting. At least I'll be able to get some answers from the Computer Science professor I'm meeting tomorrow but honestly, I feel like she's just going to say "Ummmm, if you haven't done any coding or have any experience I suggest you don't major in it." ARE YOU SERIOUSLY TELLING ME ALL COMPUTER SCIENCE MAJORS CAME IN WITH HAVING EXPERIENCE DOING CODING? YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME?! IF THEY ALL CAME IN WITH EXPERIENCE THEN WHY WOULD THEY EVEN BE STUDYING AND TRYING TO GET A DEGREE IN COMP SCI?

I've been reading a lot of stuff about computer science and I realize its math based but I seriously hope this woman doesn't tell me that all comp science majors are math geeks cause they PROBABLY ARENT. I feel like I'm considering and looking into something I shouldn't even be doing. I don't know. It just sucks cause right now I have way more questions than answers.

SNOW DAYYY! WHOOOOO

All four of my classes got cancelled today! YUP THATS RIGHT! :) All four (Environ Sci Lab, Advanced English Comp, Advanced Japanese, and Environ Sci Lecture) got cancelled. When I woke up early this morning around 6:07am to check my phone, I saw a lovely Mason Alert that explained that classes are cancelled for today. It's hard for me to wake up on Monday mornings to prepare myself for a long day but today, there was noooo problem haha. Anyways, I looked at my phone and went on my laptop to check if any professors sent out any emails. I didn't receive any emails from them except for five messages that I consider junk. I turned off my laptop and headed over to the kitchen to drink some water and look outside from the large window we have in our lounge area of the suite. I didn't see any snow falling so I was pretty surprised that the university closed for such a small amount of snow. I remember last time they didn't do that so yup you can guess that a lot of pissed off commuters headed to campus at the cost of their own lives. So probably from that experience, the university learned their lesson and cancelled classes as a precaution. I know my friend who lives in Prince William who I was messaging late last night (around 1:00am) that it was snowing pretty hard where he was. So I guess the university closed cause of their other campuses in Prince William and Arlington.

I went back to sleep around 6:30am and then woke up from my ipod touch alarm and then my phone alarm an hour later. I figured I would sleep for another thirty minutes but I ended up sleeping three more hours before waking up at around 10:30am. I kinda felt like I wasted my time sleeping cause I wanted to take advantage of this snow day but honestly up to this point (4:57pm) I've been fooling around with Python and doing some HTML. What am I doing?!!! I'm supposed to be studying for the Japanese Exam that got cancelled today cause of the snow. (I'm so glad I didn't take that exam today cause I would've probably done really baddddllyyy).

HI WORLD!

Hi everyone! My name is Rebecca and I'm currently a second year student in college. I finally decided to create a blog to voice out my opinions and blog about my life. Everyone's life is like a story, nobody's story is the same as another. We all lead different lives, we'll all take on different paths in life, and have different struggles. We're all different and unique in our own way. I just wanted to keep my first post pretty short to sum up what my blog will be about. The main focus of my blog may change but for now, I'll let you guys all into the life of the one and only Rebecca :)
